DESCRIPTION:The Self?Sufficient Unit at Albemarle County Department of Social Services is launching a new Women’s Support Group for females from all localities who are seeking connection\, encouragement\, and support navigating community resources. \nThis weekly group offers a safe\, supportive space to share experiences\, build relationships\, and learn about helpful services available in the community. Beginning in June\, a wide range of community partners—including The Haven\, Stepping Stone\, YMCA\, Virginia Career Works\, Women’s Initiative\, PHA\, CRHA\, The Foundation Fund\, and others—will join sessions to share information and resources. \nEach session will include raffle giveaways and light refreshments. \nWednesdays\n5:00-6:30 PM\nAlbemarle County DSS\n1600 5th Street NE\, Charlottesville\, VA 22902 \nOpen to all women.
