PVCC, LRCC, and GCC are the Piedmont region’s three community colleges that connect employers to locals and host several career development events.

Offers benefits programs to help meet the basic needs of individuals and their families, DSSoC also provides services to protect children and adults from abuse.

Connects Virginia veterans and their families to all benefits to which they are entitled to, both federal and state.

The Albemarle County / Charlottesville office of Virginia Cooperative Extension connects the community to Virginia’s land-grant universities, Virginia Tech and Virginia State University. Their programs cover Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, and Community Viability.

Provides job assistance opportunities to career-seekers, businesses as well as unemployed citizens.
