VCWP Centers Resume Regular Hours Starting October 28, 2025
Virginia Career Works – Piedmont Region will return to regular operating hours beginning Monday, October 28, 2025, thanks to the receipt of our November Notice of Obligation (NOO) from our state workforce partner, Virginia Works, despite the ongoing federal government shutdown.
Regular Hours of Operation are Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
While the federal shutdown continues to impact many essential programs nationwide, VCWP remains committed to serving our community with consistency and care. We appreciate your patience during the temporary schedule adjustments and thank you for your continued support.

Virginia Career Works – Piedmont Region will be open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays only (closed on Mondays & Fridays), starting October 6, 2025, until further notice.
This change is due to the ongoing U.S. government shutdown, which directly impacts our federal funding. We remain committed to serving our community and will continue to provide support during these adjusted hours.
