The Best Part of Prison Book Launch with author Jesse Crosson

The PVCC Higher Education in Prison Program will host a book launch for formerly incarcerated author Jesse Crosson – Second Chancer, April 7, 12-1:30 p.m., in the Bolick Center Event Space.

Now a social justice advocate and the founder of The Second Chance Foundation, local author Jesse Crosson shares a story that exposes the inequity of today’s criminal justice system, champions the importance of rehabilitation and restorative justice and celebrates the hope that can be found in the grimmest environments.

The Best Part of Prison is an unvarnished, deeply human account of one man’s time in prison and his unexpected journey to healing, accountability and personal transformation.
