UVA Pipelines & Pathways is gearing up for the February 2027 Earn While You Learn (EWYL) training cohorts, and we’re hosting a special recruitment event to help YOU take the next step toward a healthcare career! Be among the first to apply and interview when applications open on November 5th!

Through EWYL, you can become a full-time UVA Health employee, earn pay and benefits while you train, and transition into a permanent position upon successful completion!

Patient Care Technician (PCT)
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Patient Access Associate

Just a few minimum requirements for the job: : Age 18 or Older, High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, No Barrier Crimes.

EWYL spots are limited, but that doesn’t mean your healthcare career has to wait! We’re also partnering with Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) to share additional PCT and CMA certification training opportunities. Our team can help you explore potential employment opportunities at UVA after training, although employment is not guaranteed. HAVE A PLAN A AND A PLAN B!
