BEACON Kitchen Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening

Join New Hill Development’s BEACON Kitchen Grand Opening, featuring food, drinks, and a live DJ, to celebrate the opening of this new culinary space. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by an after-party from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
BEACON Kitchen is a shared-use commercial kitchen designed to support culinary entrepreneurs, chefs, and food enthusiasts in Charlottesville. It offers professional-grade facilities, including modern appliances, spacious workstations, cold and dry storage, and specialty equipment. The kitchen aims to foster a collaborative community where culinary dreams can grow and businesses can flourish.
The organization behind BEACON Kitchen is the New Hill Development Corporation, which focuses on expanding economic opportunities and growing wealth in the Charlottesville Black community through financial coaching, entrepreneurial support, and economic development. Their mission includes initiatives like the Black Business Incubator program, which provides financial support and resources to help entrepreneurs launch, sustain, and expand their ventures.
