Build Your Workforce While Employees Earn and Learn

Virginia Works is seeking applications from rural healthcare employers to expand Registered Apprenticeships in high-demand allied health professions. The initiative supports employers in creating paid pathways that help workers gain skills while earning wages.

Eligible Uses Include:

  • ✅ Developing new Registered Apprenticeship Programs
  • ✅ Expanding existing apprenticeship opportunities
  • ✅ On-the-job training (OJT)
  • ✅ Related technical instruction (RTI)
  • ✅ Supportive services for participants, including:
    • Transportation
    • Childcare
    • Driver’s license assistance
    • Housing support
    • Other barriers to employment
