The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Adult Program offers orientation sessions to help eligible adults find jobs through training and job search assistance:
What to expect
WIOA orientation sessions provide an overview of the program, including the resources and benefits available to participants.
Who is eligible
The WIOA Adult Program is for unemployed or underemployed adults 18 and older, or those who are considered dislocated workers.
WIOA offers a range of services, including:
• Career services, such as resume assistance and interview skills
• Job search support
• Training services, such as occupational skills training and on-the-job training
• Supportive services, such as help with background checks, transportation, and child care
