Outreach: Wilderness Library
Through a partnership with Orange County, Virginia Career Works - Piedmont Region, and the Orange County Public Libraries, Virginia Career Works - Piedmont Region provides a wide variety of mobile, workforce services to both job seekers and employers. Job-seekers and employers can meet one-on-one with a Mobile Resource Specialist in any of the three Orange County Library locations. All services to the job seeker and employer are provided free of charge.
UVA Pipelines & Pathways Skill Building 101 Training Workshop
Topic: Healthcare Cleaning, Decontamination, and Waste Management -- Join the UVA Pipelines & Pathways team for the 2025 Skill Building 101 Workshop Series. Through these in-person workshops, you will receive industry certificates that will make you more competitive in the job market. All of the workshops are FREE and open to the public. You may attend more than one workshop, but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED at link in event page.
WIOA Orientation
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Adult Program offers orientation sessions to help eligible adults find jobs through training and job search assistance.
