Interested in a career in school nutrition? The Chef Ann Foundation's Healthy School Food Pathway Pre-Apprenticeship is a paid, three-week program designed to prepare participants for careers in K-12 school food services. Participants will complete online coursework, earn a ServSafe® Food Handler Certification, participate in virtual learning, and gain hands-on experience with a participating school division. The program culminates in a job interview with the host school division. Participating divisions include Fauquier County Public Schools, Amherst County Public Schools, Alexandria City Public Schools, Prince Edward County Public Schools, Stafford County Public Schools, and Virginia Beach City Public Schools. |
