Charlottesville, VA — Atlantic Union Bank is proud to announce the opening of its new Job-Ready Clothing Closet, located in Virginia Career Works – Piedmont’s Charlottesville office at 943 Glenwood Station Lane. This initiative aims to support job seekers by providing access to professional attire for interviews, job fairs, and the first day of work.
The clothes closet is open now and will be available by appointment on Mondays and Fridays. It serves individuals enrolled in Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs through VCWP and others on a case-by-case basis. The goal is to give every job seeker the opportunity to make a strong first impression and reflect professionalism, pride, and readiness for the workforce.

Looking ready for the job can influence the impression you make in the workplace and demonstrate work ethic, which always helps you start on the right foot.”

Select Atlantic Union Bank locations are currently accepting donations of clean, new or gently used business professional and business casual attire. Items must be in good condition with visible size labels. Accepted items include:

Please note: Atlantic Union Bank cannot accept casual clothing (e.g., jeans, t-shirts, sneakers), damaged items, or hangers.
