Growing Herbs for the Beginner – Part 2
George Washington Carver Agriculture Research Center 9432 N. James Madison Highway, Rapidan, VA, United StatesWorkshop participants will learn the health benefits of growing herbs and their uses in value-added products and by-products. Sheila Jackson, Minority Veteran Farmers of Piedmont garden coordinator and the Carver Center herb developer, will take us through her herb-growing journey. Business owner Kae Walker will discuss how she found success using by-products of herbs.
