    Adult learners from around the world share their meaningful stories and poems about family, work, education, and belonging at Voices of Adult Learners a beloved, annual celebration bringing together ESL, GED, and literacy students from Piedmont Virginia Community College's Adult Education Program, local literacy programs, and correctional centers. Individuals from around the world share their meaningful stories and poems about family, work, education and belonging. This is an annual Virginia Festival of the Book event. Entry is free.

    This first Teen Expo taking place on Friday, March 20 from 12:00 - 2:30 PM at Carver Recreation Center. This expo will serve as a hub for employment opportunities, volunteer programs, internships, and extracurricular activities centered around teens. Local businesses, community organizations, and educational partners will come together to connect youth with summer jobs, career pathways, mentorship programs, and enrichment activities.
